Kathmandu, May 18, 2025 (Jestha 4, 2081) — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index continued its downward trend for the sixth consecutive trading day on Sunday, falling by 2.79 points to settle at 2,609.00.
Despite the continued drop in the index, the total trading volume increased significantly. While the previous session saw transactions worth NPR 7.08 billion, today’s turnover surged to NPR 8.50 billion, indicating a rise in market activity even amidst falling indicators.
