Nabil Bank Limited has been honored with the “Excellence in Annual Report Award 2024” by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN). The award recognizes the bank’s outstanding performance in financial transparency, accountability, and corporate governance within the banking sector.
The recognition was based on Nabil Bank’s Annual Report for the fiscal year 2023/24. ICAN selected the bank as the best in the banking sector for its clear and transparent financial reporting. Notably, Nabil Bank had also received the Gold Award in the previous fiscal year 2022/23.
The award was presented during a special ceremony held in Kathmandu on Friday. Auditor General Toyam Raya handed over the award to Sandeep Babu Poudel, Chief Financial Officer of Nabil Bank.
Following this national recognition, Nabil Bank’s award-winning annual report will also be nominated to represent Nepal in the SAFA BPA Awards, organized by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), which highlights excellence in financial reporting at the South Asian level.
