The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has imposed restrictions on its leaders and cadres, barring them from making public statements that go against the party’s principles and ideology.
In an official statement, party spokesperson and head of the publicity department, Mohan Shrestha, urged all party members to exercise caution while speaking to the media or posting on social media platforms. The statement emphasized that no written or verbal expressions contradicting the party’s policies, ideology, or broader interests should be made.
“It is requested that all leaders and cadres at all levels refrain from making any kind of statements or engaging in activities on social media or other communication platforms that are contrary to the party’s policies, ideology, and overall interests,” read the statement issued by Shrestha.
This move comes at a time when some party leaders have publicly criticized party chairman Rajendra Lingden and expressed dissatisfaction with recent disciplinary actions taken by the party. Amid growing internal dissent, the party has taken this step to maintain organizational discipline and ideological consistency.
