Three key committees under the Federal Parliament of Nepal are scheduled to hold meetings today to discuss various national issues.
The Women and Social Affairs Committee will meet at 11:30 AM. The agenda includes a discussion on the current status of Nepali women workers in foreign employment.
At 1:00 PM, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will convene. The committee will engage in a discussion with the National Human Rights Commission regarding the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process.
Similarly, the Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee is set to meet at 3:00 PM. The agenda focuses on holding a discussion with amendment proposers on the Media Council Bill, a topic the committee has been continuously reviewing.
These meetings aim to review ongoing national concerns and legislative proposals with the involvement of relevant stakeholders and experts.
