In the last 24 hours, 15 people, including four children, have died due to hunger and malnutrition in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, according to health officials. The deaths were recorded in various hospitals across the region.
This brings the total number of deaths linked to famine and malnutrition since March to 101, including 80 children.
Since Israel resumed its military operation in the enclave on March 18, at least 8,268 Palestinians have been killed, and 30,470 others injured. The total death toll since the conflict escalated in October 2023 has now reached 59,106.
