The House of Representatives meeting has commenced at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor. The agenda for today’s session includes the presentation of two bills.
Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, Nawalkishor Sah Sudi, is scheduled to present the proposal to consider the ‘Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2081.’
Similarly, Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Raghuji Pant, will present a proposal to consider the ‘Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology Bill, 2081,’ which originated in the National Assembly.
Additionally, three parliamentary committee meetings are scheduled for today. The International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives, the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee of the National Assembly, and the Legislative Management Committee will hold sessions.
The International Relations Committee will discuss the Nepal Aviation Authority Bill, 2081, with the proposing lawmaker. The Legislative Management Committee will deliberate on the ‘Water Resources Bill, 2081.’ The Delegated Legislation Committee will review and pass a report related to national parks.
