The 251st birth anniversary of Nepal’s national hero and the first Commander-in-Chief, Bhimsen Thapa, is being celebrated with various programs across the country.
As part of the celebrations, a special tribute and honor ceremony was held at the Dharahara premises in Kathmandu. During the event, the Nepali Army paid formal respects to the late Bhimsen Thapa in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the nation.
Distinguished individuals from various sectors participated in the ceremony and reflected on Bhimsen Thapa’s vital role in nation-building, social reform, and the modernization of the Nepali Army.
The program was jointly organized by the National Hero Bhimsen Thapa Memorial Foundation and the Bagale Thapa Chhetri National Foundation.
