The prestigious NSJF Pulsar Sports Award 2081, one of the most celebrated events in Nepali sports, will be held on Bhadra 29 in Pokhara this year. This marks the first time the award ceremony will be organized outside Kathmandu.
The event is organized annually by the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF). A sponsorship agreement was signed between NSJF and Golchha Group, the title sponsor for the past 17 years. The new agreement extends their partnership for another five years, with Golchha Group committing NPR 4 million in cash and kind.
NSJF President Niranjan Adhikari stated that the decision to host the event in Pokhara was made to expand the reach of sports awards nationwide and promote Pokhara as the tourism capital.
