Bimal Poudel has been recommended for the post of Chief Registrar at the Supreme Court of Nepal. The recommendation was made during a meeting of the Judicial Service Commission held on Monday.
The position became vacant following the retirement of Chief Registrar Devendra Raj Dhakal, who stepped down on Monday upon reaching the age limit of 58. Dhakal had been appointed as Chief Registrar in Poush 2080 (December 2023). He was formally bid farewell on Sunday during a special ceremony organized in his honor.
In addition, the Judicial Service Commission has recommended the promotion of Man Bahadur Karki to the post of Registrar of the Supreme Court.
