The Special Court has ordered the release of former Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) Chairman Digambar Jha on bail in connection with the Teramax procurement irregularities case.
On Sunday, a bench of Judges Narayan Singh Rai and Murari Babu Shrestha issued an order to release Jha on a bail amount of NPR 300,000.
Earlier, on Chaitra 15 (March 28), the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had filed a case against Jha along with 19 other individuals, accusing them of involvement in irregularities related to the purchase of Teramax equipment.
