The bodies of three individuals who went missing in the Thuli Bheri River following a tipper accident in Pipalchaur, Aathbiskot Municipality-14, Rukum West last Tuesday have been recovered.
According to DSP Pramesh Bisht of the Rukum West District Police Office, the deceased have been identified as 33-year-old Dhanbir BK of Sanibheri Rural Municipality-3, Rukum West, 41-year-old Maniram Chaudhary from Dang, and 20-year-old Hari BK of Syalapakh, Sisne Rural Municipality-8, Rukum East. All three bodies were found on different dates in Surkhet.
Dhanbir, who worked as a JCB operator for Yeti Builders Pvt. Ltd., was found on the bank of the Bheri River at Birendranagar Municipality-2, Surkhet, on Sunday evening. His body was officially identified by his brother on Monday, DSP Bisht confirmed. The bodies of driver Maniram and JCB helper Hari were recovered earlier at Bheriganga Municipality-2, Khochi, along the Bheri River in Surkhet.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening (Shrawan 6) when a tipper (registration number Ra 1 Kha 1501) belonging to Yeti Builders fell into the Bheri River from the Bheri Corridor Road section at Pipalchaur.
The tipper was heading from Chisapani (Ward 11) to Chhepare (Ward 14) when the accident took place, leaving all three occupants missing.
The front part of the tipper was later found on Wednesday about 400 meters downstream from the accident site toward Jajarkot.
