The Hayu family, reported missing from Chetpa in Golanjor Rural Municipality–6 of Sindhuli, has been found in Gagangauda, Pokhara. According to sources, the family members had arrived at Hotel Janani in Pokhara last Saturday and stayed there overnight. They had booked three rooms at the hotel and checked out early Sunday morning.
Earlier, on Monday, the rural municipality had published a list of 16 missing members of the Hayu family, stating that they had been out of contact since Friday. The police have now located the family and are currently questioning them. They are in contact with the Area Police Office in Sisuwa, according to police officials.
During initial questioning, the family told the police that they left their home in Sindhuli in search of a new place because they had started feeling unwell there. “We came to a new place because we kept falling sick in Sindhuli,” they reportedly told the authorities.
