The NEPSE index crossed the 3,000-point threshold once again on Tuesday, rising by 30.76 points to close at 3002.07.
The all-time high of NEPSE was recorded on Bhadra 2, 2078 BS, when it reached 3,198 points. Prior to today’s rise, the last time NEPSE had touched the 3,000 mark was on Shrawan 30 last year, when it hit 3000.81 points before beginning a downward trend.
According to NEPSE, a total of 321 companies were traded today, with 41.8 million shares changing hands, amounting to a total transaction of NPR 18.52 billion.
Shares of Muktinath Krishi Company, Trade Tower Limited, and Sanvi Energy hit the upper circuit with positive gains. Similarly, Nadeep Laghubitta’s share price increased by 9.99%.
On the other hand, Samata Domestic Laghubitta saw the highest decline today, with its share price falling by 8.60%.
Himalayan Distillery led the trading volume with transactions worth NPR 644.1 million, followed closely by Green Ventures with NPR 638.2 million in trading.
