The election schedule for selecting the leader of the Nepali Congress Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party has been made public. According to Election Committee Coordinator Harisharan Shrestha, voting will take place today.
As per the schedule, the voter list will be published at 8:00 AM today. Objections or claims regarding the list can be submitted between 8:30 and 9:00 AM.
Candidacy registration will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by the publication of the preliminary candidate list at 11:30 AM. The deadline to withdraw candidacies is set for 12:00 noon.
The final list of candidates will be published at 1:00 PM, and voting will be conducted from 2:00 to 3:00 PM today at the Nepali Congress Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party office in Hetauda.
A provincial assembly-issued ID card is mandatory for voting. The vote count will begin immediately after polling ends, and the results will be announced the same day, according to the committee.
The election committee, formed on Tuesday, comprises coordinator Harisharan Shrestha and members Rishiram Ghimire and Jeevan Dhungel.
