After a week of fluctuation, the price of gold in Nepal has increased today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold prices had been declining for four consecutive days and remained stable for two days before rising today.
The price of gold rose by NPR 1,400 per tola, reaching NPR 194,400. Just yesterday, it had dropped by NPR 600 to stand at NPR 193,000 per tola. Earlier this week, on Sunday, the price had fallen by NPR 1,100, while it had declined by NPR 500 on Friday and a sharp NPR 2,400 on Thursday.
Notably, on Baisakh 9 (mid-April), gold had reached its all-time high in Nepal at NPR 197,900 per tola.
Silver prices also saw a slight increase today, rising by NPR 5 per tola to reach NPR 2,310.
