Two individuals have gone missing after jumping off the bridge over the Narayani River, which connects Nawalparasi (Bardaghat–Susta East) and Chitwan. According to police, one person jumped in the morning and the other in the evening.
Inspector Kamala Naral, chief of the Area Police Office, Gaindakot, informed that a woman, approximately 42 years old, jumped off the bridge at around 7:45 PM on Tuesday and has been missing since.
She stated, “It has been difficult to carry out search operations due to the incident happening in the evening. The boy who jumped in the morning also remains unaccounted for.”
The boy has been identified as 15-year-old Adesh Shrestha of Gaindakot-5, while the identity of the woman is still unknown.
