Bagmati Province Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota has been hospitalized due to health issues.
According to a press statement issued by the Province Chief’s Office on Thursday, he has been admitted to Grande International Hospital in Dhapasi, Kathmandu, for treatment.
Spokesperson Devendra Sapkota informed that the Province Chief is undergoing treatment after kidney stones were detected, and he is being kept under medical supervision as per doctors’ advice.
Due to this sudden health issue, the oath-taking ceremony of newly appointed ministers of the Bagmati Province Government, scheduled for 1 PM on Thursday, has been postponed.
