A pickup accident occurred in Tekunala, Dhankuta Municipality-8, injuring more than 17 people. The pickup with the registration number Ba. 2 Cha. 2309, coming from Tekunala towards the market, met with the accident on Sunday morning at around 10:30 AM.
There were 21 passengers on board the pickup at the time of the accident. Among them, 17 were injured. The injured have been rescued and taken to Dhankuta District Hospital.
According to the police, three of the injured are in serious condition. They have been referred to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for further treatment.
