The CPN (Maoist Centre) has alleged that the government is acting with ill intent by attempting to remove Deputy Speaker Indira Rana.
A meeting of party officials at the central office concluded that the government is moving towards authoritarianism.
“The government is heading toward authoritarian and dictatorial practices. We have also heard attempts are being made to remove the Deputy Speaker. This would be unacceptable,” the Maoist Centre stated.
