Kathmandu Authorities Expand Curfew to Include Key Government and Heritage Sites

The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has expanded the curfew area, issuing a new order effective from 1 PM to 10 PM today.

The revised curfew now includes the President’s Office (Sheetal Niwas), the Vice President’s Office (Harit Griha), the Narayanhiti Palace Museum, and Singha Durbar.

According to the order issued by the Chief District Officer under Section 6(k) of the Local Administration Act, 2028, no movement, gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, meetings, or blockades are allowed within the designated perimeters of Kathmandu Metropolitan City until the curfew is lifted.
