National Assembly Session Postponed Until Wednesday Following Curfew Over Gen Z Protest

The National Assembly meeting has been postponed until Wednesday, September 11 (Bhadra 25), after a curfew was imposed in Kathmandu due to the Gen Z protest against the social media ban.

The Federal Parliament Secretariat issued a notice stating that the session scheduled for 1:15 PM on Monday has been rescheduled for 1:15 PM on Wednesday.

In the notice, issued by Secretary-General Padma Prasad Pandey, the reason for the postponement was cited as “special circumstances.”
