Communication and Information Technology Minister Jagdish Kharel has officially assumed his duties.
On Monday, he took the oath of office and secrecy at the President’s Office and then proceeded to his office at Singha Durbar to take charge.
Upon assuming office, Minister Kharel made his first decision to provide free Wi-Fi within five months at public locations in Kathmandu as well as nine other major cities across the country, the ministry stated.
