The Cabinet has approved Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Minister Kulman Ghising’s official visit to India.
As per the decision made in the Cabinet meeting on Sunday, Minister Ghising will represent Nepal at the 8th Assembly of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), scheduled to be held in New Delhi from Kartik 10 to 13 (October 27–30, 2025).
Minister for Communication, Information, and Technology Jagadish Kharel informed that the Cabinet has granted approval for Minister Ghising to attend the high-level solar energy summit.
This visit will mark Minister Ghising’s first official foreign trip since the formation of the new government, and it will be to India—Nepal’s close neighbor and a key partner in the energy sector.
