The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued the weather forecast for Friday. Today, the weather will remain generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some hilly and Terai areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, as well as in certain parts of Madhesh and other remaining provinces.
There is a chance of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the Terai region of Lumbini Province and the hilly areas of Karnali and Bagmati Provinces.
Similarly, heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Gandaki Provinces, according to the Department.
Tonight, moderate rainfall is expected in some hilly and Terai areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Madhesh Provinces, as well as in a few places of the hilly and Terai regions of the remaining provinces.
