Kathmandu — Luna Luitel has been crowned Miss Nepal World 2025, triumphing over 24 other contestants in the 31st edition of the Miss Nepal pageant, organized by The Hidden Treasure at the Godawari Sunrise Convention Centre on Saturday.
The outgoing Miss Nepal World 2024, Ashma Kumari KC, crowned Luna as her successor.
A certified scuba diver, Luna moved to Australia at the age of 17, where she pursued nursing studies. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Sydney. In 2015, she was the first runner-up of Miss Teen Nepal.
In this year’s competition, Deepshikha Nepal was declared first runner-up, earning the title of Miss Nepal Cosmo, while Urusha Bhandari became second runner-up, winning the title of Miss Nepal International. Urusha will represent Nepal at the upcoming Miss International pageant in Japan. Meanwhile, Sony Ghale bagged the title of Miss Nepal Earth 2025.

The panel of judges included Miss Nepal World 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Mr. Nepal 2023 Samarpan Jung Karki, actress Anna Sharma, CEO Mahesh Swar, and designer Manish Rai, among other notable personalities.
