The price of gold reached Rs 258,000 per tola on Friday, marking a new record in Nepal’s bullion market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 7,100 per tola compared to the previous day, setting a new all-time high.
As per the federation, the price of 10 grams of gold has now reached Rs 221,195.
On Thursday, the price of hallmark gold had been Rs 250,900 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has also gone up. It rose from Rs 3,275 per tola on Thursday to Rs 3,350 per tola on Friday, according to the federation.
