South Africa Defeats England by 125 Runs to Reach ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Final

South Africa advanced to the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup final after defeating England by 125 runs in the first semifinal.

Set a target of 320 runs, England was bowled out for 194 runs in 42.3 overs.

For South Africa, Marizanne Kapp delivered a brilliant performance, taking five wickets — the highest in the match.

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt top-scored with 64 runs, while Alice Capsey contributed 50 runs.

Earlier, England had won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first, South Africa posted a strong total of 319 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs.

In the second semifinal, India will face Australia on Thursday.
