Headline:NEPSE Drops by 27.64 Points on Tuesday


On the third trading day of the week, Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a double-digit decline. The benchmark index fell by 27.64 points, closing at 2,595.24.

A total of 10.34 million shares of 322 companies were traded today, amounting to a total turnover of Rs. 5.15 billion. Out of the traded companies, 33 saw their share prices rise, 213 declined, and 3 remained unchanged.

The most actively traded stock of the day was NRN Infrastructure & Development, with a transaction value of Rs. 270 million, followed by Radhi Hydropower Company at Rs. 220 million.

The top gainer of the day was Mabilung Energy, whose investors earned 9.98 percent, while the top loser was Muktinath Krishi Company, whose investors lost 10 percent in value.
