The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the western part of Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of a western low-pressure system.
According to the department, this afternoon, the weather will remain generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy conditions. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall and snowfall in some hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Similarly, during the night, the weather will remain generally cloudy in the hilly regions and mostly clear in other parts of the country. Light rain and snowfall are also likely to occur at a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, the department stated.
