Newly formed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has pledged to work together with all leftist forces to safeguard national unity, democracy, and the republic.
Speaking at an event on Wednesday, Prachanda said, “We are not satisfied just because ten factions have come together. We are ready to join hands with all socialist fronts, other communist groups, and even CPN-UML to defend the nation, democracy, and the republic.”
He further mentioned that if full unification is not immediately possible, they are ready to form alliances and coalitions with like-minded forces. “We will move ahead by uniting with those who are ready now, and by forming fronts with those who join later,” Prachanda added.
