The Nepali national women’s football team has announced its 27-member preliminary squad for the upcoming tri-nation friendly tournament featuring Indonesia and Chinese Taipei.
Head coach Nabin Neupane unveiled the preliminary squad on Wednesday (Kartik 19). According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the selected players include:
Goalkeepers:
Angila Tumbapo Subba, Anjana Ranamagar, Usha Nath, Lila Joshi
Defenders and Midfielders:
Hirakumari Bhujel, Sajani Thokar, Samiksha Ghimire, Nisha Thokar, Pooja Rana, Bimala Bik, Pratiksha Chaudhary, Renuka Nagarkote, Purnima Rai, Preeti Rai, Saru Limbu, Deepa Sahi, Sabita Ranamagar, Anita Basnet, Meena Deuba
Forwards:
Sabitra Bhandari, Birsana Chaudhary, Rekha Paudel, Neha Kumari Bhandari, Saraswati Hamal, Manmaya Damai, Anita Lamzhal
The friendly tournament will take place in Indonesia from November 26 to December 2.
Last month, Nepal participated in another tri-nation friendly series that included India, Iran, and Nepal.
