The central committee meeting of the Nepali Congress is being held again today. According to the party’s chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the meeting will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the party’s central office in Sanepa.
During Tuesday’s session, General Secretary Gagan Thapa presented the schedule for the upcoming general convention, and party leaders have since been expressing their views focusing mainly on that agenda. The discussion on the proposal is still ongoing.
In Wednesday’s meeting, several leaders, including Deputy General Secretary Farmullah Mansur, and central members Prakashman Singh, Padmanarayan Chaudhary, Jeevan Bahadur Shahi, Surendra Raj Pandey, Shankar Bhandari, Krishna Kishor Ghimire, Taraman Gurung, Angelu Sherpa, Madan Bahadur Amatya, Chandra Bahadur K.C., Abdul Sattar, Udaya Shumsher Rana, Anjani Shrestha, Champadevi Khadka, Zabeda Khatun Jaga, Prof. Dr. Govind Raj Pokharel, Ajay Babu Shivakoti, Maya Rai, Sushila Dhakal (Acharya), Ganga Shahi, and Sita Devi Devkota, shared their opinions on the presented agenda.
