The deadline given by the Election Commission for registering new political parties ends today.
For the purpose of the House of Representatives election announced by the interim government for Falgun 21, the Election Commission had set the deadline for new party registration until the end of Kartik.
Parties already registered at the Commission must re-register for election purposes. The Commission has already called for party registration for the House of Representatives election on Falgun 21 and the National Assembly election on Magh 11.
The Commission has called for party registration until Mangsir 10 for the House of Representatives election and until Mangsir 7 for the National Assembly election.
