The Nepal U-20 national women’s football team has departed for Bhutan to participate in the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers. The team left for Bhutan on Thursday morning after receiving an official farewell from the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday.
Nepal is placed in Group ‘A’ alongside Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, and North Korea. The qualifiers are scheduled to take place in Bhutan from August 6 to August 10.
As per the fixture, Nepal will play its opening match against Bhutan on August 6, followed by the second match against Saudi Arabia on August 8, and the final group match against North Korea on August 10.
