Indra Bahadur Baniya is set to be appointed as the Chief Minister of Bagmati Province. Baniya had submitted his claim for the position on Monday after being elected as the parliamentary party leader of the Nepali Congress.
Province Head Deepak Prasad Devkota is preparing to appoint Baniya as Chief Minister later today. According to a close source, if appointed, Baniya will take the oath of office at 4 PM this afternoon.
