Nepse Halts Trading After Hitting Positive Circuit; Market to Reopen at 11:23 AM

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has been temporarily halted for 20 minutes after hitting a positive circuit breaker. The market will reopen at 11:23 AM.

Within just two minutes of trading, the market surged by 4 percent, triggering the automatic halt. The Nepse index rose by 102.41 points, reaching 2,662 points. During this brief period, shares worth more than NPR 2.75 billion were traded.
