Two Chinese nationals have been arrested from Thamel, Kathmandu with 2 kilograms of gold and Rs 2.4 million in cash. According to police, the arrested individuals have been identified as 34-year-old Sumei Zhou and 46-year-old Chunlin Than, both residents of Xichuan, China.
They were taken into custody by police on Monday evening. Authorities have launched a further investigation into the case. In recent times, the involvement of Chinese nationals in various criminal activities in Nepal has been on the rise.
