President Ram Chandra Paudel has returned the bill to amend the Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers and Procedures) Act, 2066 to the House of Representatives for reconsideration.
The bill had been passed by both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly and was submitted to the President for authentication. However, President Paudel has sent it back to the House of Representatives, requesting a review of the proposed amendments.
