Gold and silver prices increased in the Nepali market on Thursday. Gold rose by NPR 100 per tola today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been set at NPR 196,800 per tola, compared to NPR 196,700 per tola on Wednesday. Similarly, silver prices rose by NPR 15 per tola, reaching NPR 2,340 today, up from NPR 2,325 per tola yesterday.

The IPO allotment of Darimkhola Hydro Energy has been completed. The allotment took place this morning at the issue manager, Laxmi Sunrise Capital. A total of 242,318 applicants received 10 shares each, while 5 of them received an additional 1 share, totaling 11 shares. Hemraj Dhakal, Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), has been appointed as a director of the Nepal Securities Board. Representing the private sector, Dhakal succeeds Anjan Kumar Shrestha, former Senior Vice President of FNCCI, who previously held the board position but resigned due to personal reasons. Following his resignation, the federation decided to nominate Dhakal for the role. Sagar Distillery Limited has opened the sale of its ordinary shares (IPO) from today (Wednesday), specifically for Nepalis working abroad.
