The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has decided to include youth under the age of 40 as representatives in its upcoming 11th National General Convention. Three people have died after being buried in an avalanche in Dolakha. The incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, according to Assistant Chief District Officer Aulakh Bahadur Ale. Out of the 15 climbers—both Nepali and foreign—who had set out to climb Yalungri Himal, three lost their lives, while 12 remain missing, Ale said. Continuous rain on Sunday combined with ongoing road maintenance caused Deep Kafle from Kawasoti to take nearly 12 hours to travel from Bardaghat to Dauwne via Dumkibas. Passengers complained that recent rainfall has made the road muddy and slippery, making travel extremely challenging.
