According to police, the deceased have been identified as 12-year-old Sulochana Timilsina Upadhyay of Janaki Rural Municipality-5, Nawalpur, 10-year-old Nisha Bajgai, and 8-year-old Mansi Bajgai. At least 10 people were killed when a passenger bus traveling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru caught fire in India. Many passengers sustained serious injuries in the incident. The accident occurred this morning when a jeep (registration number Su Pra 01 001 Ja 1662) traveling from Latinath to Sarsi met with an accident at Danikhet. Three people were killed and six others were injured in a Bolero jeep accident in Solukhumbu on Thursday evening. The incident occurred at around 6:30 PM in Bhirakuna, Mapya Dudhkoshi–6, when a Bolero jeep (Bagmati Province 01-031 Cha 5924) veered off the road and fell approximately 500 meters down a hillside. Out of the 11 passengers onboard, three women died on the spot. According to police, among the six injured, three are in moderate condition while two sustained minor injuries. Those injured in the accident include driver Shridhwaj Rai, Ganga Rai, Bastikala Rai, Samaya Rai, Sajana Rai, and Umesh Rai.

Three people drowned during the immersion of a Durga idol in Rupandehi. The incident took place on Wednesday at Suryapuraghat in Ward No. 6 of Gaidahwa Rural Municipality. The deceased have been identified as 13-year-old Ajay Harijan, 15-year-old Deepu Harijan, and 28-year-old Rohit Harijan, all residents of Ward No. 1 of Mayadevi Rural Municipality.
