Two people were killed in a bus accident in Dhankuta on Wednesday afternoon. The bus, heading towards Jitpur in Mahalaxmi Municipality, met with an accident at Nigale in Dhankuta. According to the District Police Office, Dhankuta, the bus (Province 1-02-001 Kha 9606) accident claimed the lives of 55-year-old Ganga Karki and 60-year-old Dilli Baral, both residents of Mahalaxmi-7. Out of the 30 passengers onboard, six sustained injuries. Police said the injured are receiving treatment at Dhankuta District Hospital.

In Ratnanagar Municipality-12, Shantikunj, Chitwan, the wall of a grain factory collapsed, killing three people and injuring two others. The incident occurred this morning when the wall of the factory gave way. The three workers died while receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
