The government has decided to form task forces in all seven provinces to improve the salary and service conditions of nurses. A committee led by Dr. Shreekrishna Shrestha, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Health, has been formed to address the issues raised by nurses. Commercial banks have published new interest rates for the month of Kartik, showing a decline compared to Asoj. The average maximum interest rate on individual fixed deposits has dropped from 5.46% in Bhadra to 5.20% in Kartik, marking a 0.26 percentage point decrease.
