Efforts to clear the landslide at Tuiun Khola along the Muglin–Narayangadh road section are moving ahead at high speed. According to the Road Division Office, one excavator and one loader have been deployed from the Narayangadh side, while two loaders, one excavator, and one backhoe loader are operating from the Muglin side. A bus traveling from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj met with an accident on the East–West Highway at Umarichowk in Shivraj Municipality-1, Kapilvastu.According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ripendra Kumar Singh of the Kapilvastu District Police Office, the bus (registration number Ga 1 Kha 9700) overturned at Umarichowk while en route to Nepalgunj from Kathmandu. Among the 35 passengers on board, 10 were injured and are undergoing treatment at Sanjivani Hospital in Chandrauta, DSP Singh said.The bus lost control and toppled to the left side of the road.
