A landslide has obstructed the Saljhandi–Dhorpatan road, a national priority project. Heavy rainfall caused a landslide in Dharabot, Ward No. 7 of Dhorpatan Municipality, blocking the road. A youth who had been out of contact for three days was found dead in a forest in Kapilvastu. The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Bhim Kunwar of Chandranagar (Keliyo Hotel area), Shivaraj Municipality–5. According to police, Kunwar had gone missing since Friday afternoon. The Kavrepalanchok District Security Committee has decided to restrict the operation of passenger vehicles on the BP Highway from 6:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. until the end of Bhadra (mid-September).
