Two youths lost their lives in a scooter accident at Jadibuti, Kathmandu, early Friday morning. The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Shiris Paudel, originally from Nawalparasi and currently residing in Lokanthali, Bhaktapur, and 23-year-old Nitesh Nepal from Kavrepalanchok. According to police, at around 3 AM, the scooter (Lu 43 Pa 4938) collided with a parked bus (Ba Pra 01–006 Kha 4243) near the overhead bridge at Jadibuti. Both victims, who were critically injured in the accident, were rushed to the National Trauma Center, where they died during treatment, police confirmed.

Motorcyclists and scooter riders in Bagmati Province will no longer be able to refuel without wearing a helmet. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has stated that no other stable and powerful government is likely to be formed before 2084 BS. Announcing the decisions of the Cabinet meeting held on Bhadra 9, Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, shared the information.
