The Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources under the House of Representatives on Thursday passed the Land Bill by majority vote. The CPN (Maoist Centre), however, walked out of the committee’s deliberations. The government has made public the decisions of the Cabinet meeting held on Bhadra 2. Minister for Communication and Information Technology as well as government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung announced the decisions on Wednesday. Vehicular movement has resumed on a one-way basis in Halede, Ward No. 7 of Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality, Ramechhap, following road repairs after a landslide.
