He said, “Today’s cabinet meeting is a regular one that had already been scheduled, so the regular agenda will remain. At least 14 protesters injured during the ‘Gen Z’ demonstration in Kathmandu Valley have died while undergoing treatment at various hospitals today. According to eyewitnesses, the protesters climbed over the main gate of the parliamentary premises to gain access. Gagandev Rai Yadav, the ward chair of Boudhimai Municipality–6, Rautahat, has died after sustaining injuries from an electric shock. According to Rautahat District Police spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent Raju Karki, Yadav was injured around 7:15 PM on Sunday and passed away during treatment at 8:15 PM. The police reported that while heading to his field, Yadav came into contact with an 11,000-volt live wire that had fallen to the ground, resulting in severe electric shock.
