Three people have died of Japanese Encephalitis and nine others have been diagnosed with dengue infection in Bardaghat-Susta West, Nawalparasi district. According to Bheshraj Sharma, acting chief of the District Health Office, the deceased were a 74-year-old man from Bardaghat Municipality-12, a 62-year-old man from Sarawal Rural Municipality-1, and a 50-year-old man from Pratappur Rural Municipality-1. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) has reported receiving more than 15,000 new complaints related to conflict-era incidents. At a press conference in Kathmandu on Sunday, the Commission stated that it had received 15,191 new complaints, mainly concerning cases of enforced disappearance, rape, or other serious sexual violence. Under the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act, 2071 BS, the Commission had issued a three-month public notice seeking such complaints. An elderly priest has died under suspicious circumstances in Kanchanrup Municipality, Saptari.
