Pokhara International Airport is set to have flights to Australia, with China’s Sichuan Airlines preparing to operate the route via Chengdu. The airline has requested permission from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to commence the service. Four people were killed and four others injured when a jeep met with an accident in Dadeldhura on Thursday morning. According to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, the incident took place on an unpaved road at Chaud in Navadurga Rural Municipality-5. The Kathmandu-Muglin road section at Satakilla in Thakre Rural Municipality-7, Dhading, which was blocked by a landslide, has been reopened.
